The Ikepod Watch Company is a new Swiss watch company devoted to progressive design and production values. Marc Newson works in London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, Milan, and La Chaux-de-Fonds. He has designed various interiors like the Coast Restaurant in London, the Pod Bar in Tokyo, the recording studio Syn in Tokyo, the Crocodile Boutique in Hong Kong. Now, the genius is restructuring all the retail shops for Apple Computers in USA.

The Hemipode Chronograph is a chronometer certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute. The movement is based on a reliable ETA 7750 caliber, with the date marker at the 3 o'clock position. At the 6 o'clock position, there is a time zone indicator, which can be fine-tuned using the lower left-hand button. The split-seconds chronograph on the right can measure periods up to 12 hours. The movement is based on the ETA 7750 caliber. The production of the Hemipode Split Chronograph is restricted to 99 pieces for each face version: HR01 (black with silver hour markers) and HR02 (silver with black hour markers).

The Seaslug Collection

The first collection introduced by Ikepod Co. in 1995 is made up of a self-winding mechanical divers’ watch, the Seaslug, water-resistant up to 328 feet, featuring a second time zone. These watches are fitted with an ETA 2893-2 certified chronometer movement and are limited to 9999 pieces of each face version. The straps are made of orange, black, or jade green natural rubber, or of black non-allergenic leather. A steel wristlet with orgone links is also presented. The 3 face colors are black, silver, and anthracite. The crystal is either sapphire or mineral; the face is with or without a date, and an exhibition back. Diameter 39 mm, weight 70 grams.

The Megapode Pilot Chronograph

This watch is entitled Megapode due to its dimension and practicality. It is equipped with an E6B flight analog computer, which functions as a slide rule by turning the crown located at the 3 o’clock position. The Megapode Pilot Chronograph is the only mechanical watch featuring such analog computer, a second time zone function and water resistance up to 100 feet. It shows the second time zone with a UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) 24-hour subdial. Moreover, it functions as a chronograph with start/stop buttons, which are on the left side of the timepiece for comfort and convenience. The Megapode Pilot Chronograph is being manufactured in an edition of 9,999 pieces and made out of rugged titanium. Aviators can employ the chronograph for pre-flight planning to measure flying time and fuel consumption. The E6B analog computer can be used to measure anticipated winds blowing opposite to the course of an airplane to determine how they can distress the flight plan. The timepiece can also be used to compute metric system conversions, temperature conversions (Fahrenheit to Celsius, and vice versa), and to make currency conversions.
